As promised at the AMAs on Sunday, Nicki Minaj debuted her new music video for “Freedom” yesterday and released something else too, you’ll see. Welcome back to ClevverMusic. Nicki Minaj promised in her American Music Awards speech that the “Freedom” video would be out Monday, and she made good on that. In Nicki’s new music video for hip hop ballad “Freedom” we see a mostly black and white video filled with regal images and religious symbolism. The video starts off with a stairway leading nowhere, presumably to heaven and we see an image of a cross. Nicki sings in front of her very own arc, wearing a crown of thorns which is was Jesus Christ wore when he was sacrificed on a cross. The vulnerable video was shot in England, and in it Nicki dons various royal outfits while indoors and then outside in a deserted landscape. In the beautiful video, Nicki is finally set free and slowly the color comes back into sight. However, her “Freedom” video isn’t the only thing she released on Monday. While doing an appearance on BET’s 106 & Park to promote her newly released album “The Re-Up” she suffered a nip slip live on TV while wearing a bejeweled bra.
